The Brief

Caltex Australia required fixtures for their new store in Morayfield. They wanted to present their products in the best light by using gondolas that help their products stand out and encourage customers to shop longer. The colour needed to blend with their brand, create a stylish atmosphere and contribute to an attractive store environment.

They also wanted to reduce the time spent re-stocking their refrigerators and ensure drinks are always front-facing to maximise sales for the category.

Our Solution

SI Retail suggested charcoal P&C gondolas in Grid Mesh for the aisles and Pegboard/Volcano Board end caps. This allows Caltex to store extra product underneath in the roll-out drawers for a neat and clean looking store. 

Ezi-Glide™ Auto-Facing Gravity Roller Shelves were fitted into the shelves of their back-fed refrigerators to allow for an easy re-stocking process and to ensure maximum drink category sales through a constant product offering. 

Overall, the store now looks classy, sophisticated and neat; with their drink fridges constantly stocked full - all of which contribute to a pleasant store environment and an increased sales potential.

Features

• The multiple height availability of the P&C gondolas meant Caltex could place matching gondolas underneath the front windows of the store at a lower height than those used in the aisles.
• Grid Mesh shelves were chosen to reduce the need for cleaning as dust falls in-between the shelf instead of sitting on the shelf and requiring constant dusting or wiping down.
• The signage for the P&C gondolas allow Caltex to promote their brands and products to consumers or categorise products within the store for easy recognition.
• The Ezi-Glideâ„¢ shelves allow for cool air to travel upwards, and are easy to wipe clean, making it perfect for use in all store refrigerators.
