The Brief

Our client Baby Bunting had trialled an alternative queue system in their Chadstone Shopping Centre store but were looking for a more economical and versatile system for their new Doncaster Shopping Centre store.

They required a white coloured system to complement the rest of their store fixtures and to promote a fresh and clean feel. They also needed a more versatile solution for their large variety of products and differing store layouts.

The system needed to both navigate customers to the registers in a clear and orderly manner, as well as encourage additional impulse sales. It also had to be user friendly for staff to ensure they could effectively display different types of product, easily adjust displays and top up stock as necessary.

Our Solution

SI Retail’s EZI-Q® In-Queue Merchandising System (available ex-stock from our warehouse), provided the versatility and cost savings that our client was looking for. SI Retail worked with Baby Bunting to establish their preferred layout and fixture requirements, taking into account their specialised needs in relation to extensive pram traffic and product mix.

The SI Retail EZI-Q® system is currently available ex-stock in black. Due to tight lead times, instead of having the order custom manufactured in white and imported, SI Retail organised the local powder-coating of all components. This ensured we were able to address the client’s specific needs for a white finish and meet their timelines.

Goods were delivered to site on time and assembled with the assistance of a Melbourne based SI Retail Account Manager. The feedback from the team at the time of assembly and on opening day was extremely positive.
